2022 BECE Results Released

The West African Examination Council, W.A.E.C has released the results of the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination.

Having successfully conducted the examination at 2,023 centres and completed Coordination and Marking exercises, the Council has released the results of B.E.C.E for both School and Private Candidates for 2022.

The council in a statement announcing the release of the results said “The West African Examinations Council wishes to inform the general public that it has released provisional results of candidates who sat for the BECE for both School and Private Candidates, 2022.

Last year, the same diet of examination was administered to both school and private candidates. The Council will dispatch the results of school candidates to their respective schools through the Metropolitan/Municipal/District Directors of Education. The results for Private Candidates can be assessed at the Council’s website waecgh.org.

School candidates who so desire may also access their results online at the Council’s website.”

A total number of 552,276 candidates made up of 276,988 males and 275,288 females from 18,501 Junior High Schools, participated in the 2022 BECE for School Candidates at 2,023 centres across the country.

How to check 2022 BECE School and Private results

1. Visit the eresults.waecgh.org

2. Enter your 2022 BECE Index Number.

3. Re-enter the Index Number to confirm it is correct.

4. Select Examination type (BECE)

5. Enter Examination year (2022)

6. Enter the Serial Number on the result checking the voucher

7. Enter the PIN on the result checking the voucher

8. Tick the ‘I am not a robot box and

9. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window.

As the 2022 B.E.CE Results have been released, your results should be displayed all things being equal.
